Aldea Community
Near Vista Presioso and Avenida Frijoles in the community of Aldea, Santa Fe, NM
Directions: Turn off 599 at signs for La Tierra (and a small one for Aldea). In a hundred feet turn left onto West Frontage Road. Take the frontage road about a mile to a sign for “Aldea Plaza.” Turn in and proceed past the Plaza downhill to a small round-about, go left on Vista Precioso, go the end of the block and another traffic circle and turn left again (on Avenida Frijoles.) Go a few feet to a very small, unnamed street that runs behind the houses. The Labyrinth is on the right side about 100 feet ahead.
Do not park your car along this little street. Instead proceed to the end of the street, turn left onto Calle Lomita and park there. Walk back to the labyrinth. This is an agreement we have made with the neighbors.
This is a Chartres style labyrinth, 42 feet in diameter, made of river stones and gravel. It was built by the Aldea Community organized by Sandra Pazanin and guided by the Labyrinth Resource Group. It has a magnificent view to the Sangre de Cristo mountains.
